Scope of Unit
This unit is a close study of Hannie Rayson's Inheritance. We will be examining what the text teaches us about the Australian character and landscape and how this is conveyed through Rayson's use of character, setting, plot and literary techniques.
We will be deconstructing some key scenes in class but you must read the play in its entirety in your own time. As you read, you will be completing a plot summary which will help you locate specific events or quotes when you need them to back up your writing.
